Biodiesel, the end of fossil fuels era is near

The oracle has spoken. The giant British Petroleum said that the consumption and, consequently, the production of petroleum-derived fuels will no longer rise. Indeed, by 2050 there will be a constant scenario that from 120 million barrels per day will reach a threshold of 20 million barrels per day. A quota that, in all likelihood, will make the management of the entire production chain uneconomical, given that already now, with excessive production compared to demand, oil is being sold below cost.

Surely the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated a process that had already been monitored for some time by the top management of one of the biggest players ever in the international fuel and energy market.

But what was said soon after is that BP is already investing billions of euros in green energy.
Biodiesel and biofuels in general are from now on in a privileged position, representing an investment with an even greater perspective not only for the many who were investing with confidence in this sector, but also for the last-minute converts who are already trying to find the right partner to join the business.

Biodiesel, thanks also to an exponential growth of production technology such as that of CMBernardini, has developed over the last few years increasingly performing characteristics, both in terms of energy yield and as regards the starting products.

Thanks to production technology like that of CMBernardini it is, in fact, possible to obtain Second Generation biodiesel, starting from no food feedstocks (UCO, animal fats, POME, acid oils, etc.), with a truly negligible percentage of waste and minimal environmental impact.

A striking result that shows how the excellence of Italian R&D can represent an alternative that is not only possible but real, concrete and already available for many customers. Making biofuels the best solution for the immediate transition from fossil fuels to clean and sustainable energy.
